Stray Cat Slim Jim Phantom & The Kopy Katz 2023

It happened again! Stray Cat legend Slim Jim Phantom asked The Kopy Katz to support him on the opening show of his UK Summer tour 2023.

The show took place on 08 June at Suburbs at The Holroyd Arms, Guildford in Surrey. Funnily enough we played our own set there back in May for the first time.

We played a 50 minute set that once again, didn’t include any Stray Cats songs, for obvious reason. It very strange not opening the show with something like Rumble In Brighton.

Slim Jim’s show was great and unlike last time we supported him in 2022 when Darrel Higham and Adam played with him, this time it was a new couple of musicians. He was backed by Andy from Furious and Frankie from The Honkabillies. Both lovely guys and a great time was had by all.
