The Kopy Katz are a high-octane, wild & fun 3-piece UK rockabilly band that cover songs by The Stray Cats & Lee Rocker as well as 50’s rockers like Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Elvis. They even apply their own unique rockabilly sound to T.Rex, The Rolling Stones, Billy Idol and many others.

The band is based in Welwyn Garden City, Herts and East coast Essex and features David Lyall (vocals & guitar), Lee Rocker (drums) & Carl James-Cordean (double bass).

After a few years playing pubs, clubs and small festivals, 2020 got off to a great start with The Kopy Katz supporting The Polecats, Restless and Darrel Higham & The Enforcers and playing legendary venues like The 100 Club, London. But due to COVID-19, things came to a halt.

In April 2021 the band released their debut original single called THE KOPY KATZ SUCK. Check the official music video. Also available from your favourite download and streaming outlets.

The Kopy Katz return to live shows from 26 June 2021 at Hot Box, Chelmsford, Essex. See gig diary >
